I need help discerning between a job in Youth Ministry or graduate school right away. Pray for me please! Because I just want to fulfill God’s will….which I am having a hard time seeing.

This is a made up holiday by some silly girl who wants to gush over her guy.
Ok. I get it. But, isn’t that why we have Valentines day?
I see so many couples at school. Which is great! I mean, we’re supposed to date one another to see what we like in the opposite sex and to see if marriage is our vocation, but some couples cross the line.
Like Couple A. Couple A is in my statistics class. They’re also in the same swim class, english class, computer class, and acting class. Hopefully you’re getting the gist.
That’s a bit much!
We’re not supposed to spend every.waking.moment. with our significant others. It’s not healthy! I can’t even grasp how the spend all that time together. I’ve only been in a few relationships…but I could never spend every minute of every day with that person. And maybe that’s because I haven’t found “the one” yet, but I just don’t see it. You need your own group of friends. You need to take separate classes. You need alone time! What if you break up?! Who will you hang out with if you both share all of the same friends?! Why lose your identity in someone who doesn’t know everything about you?
I think the only time that you should spend that much time with someone is if you’re married. Because you’re one in God, and it’s the perfect relationship…and you’re supposed to be together. Granted, I still think that you should have your own friends (who wants to have girls night and have to tote your guy every time?) and I still think you need your own alone time. Not always, but at least for fifteen minutes. (I wouldn’t mind a bubble bath alone after a stressful day).
You should have one relationship where you spend every moment of every day with that guy. And that’s Jesus. He knows you better than you know yourself. And He deserves every minute of your days here on earth!
Relationships are strange. But just remember to make God the center of it, and not lose your identity in some guy that probably won’t last much longer than football season. Fall in love with Christ so your guy will seek Christ to find you.
